Plein Air Jalan Kayu

Plein air oil painting of “Church of The Epiphany” in Jalan Kayu along Tampines Expressway. Many construction works are going on nearby, quite unsure of this very old architecture.

Sketched this nostalgic back alley in Jalan Kayu with spiral staircase, plants growing on them, air vents in houses…..on the left is a tree thriving on a large stone wall. It started raining while sketching, added colors at home later.
