Mother’s Day

I’m not a fan of the much commercialized celebration of “Days” like teacher’s day, mother’s day etc., instead I wud advise my students to make handmade cards or gifts if they want to gift their loved ones….but last week my son bought an artificial rose from his bookshop for me(with the extra money he had), he said everyone bought gifts for their mums too……and I shud admit, that moment of receiving a gift from those little hands is very exceptional, he later promised to give me a handmade card too 🙂
And what I did with it? as usual…………Gouache (Cad yellow, Cad Red, Alizarin Crimson, Cerulean blue).
