I did a portrait painting for Indhu recently, she wanted a 11′ X 16″ portrait of her mother…..after doing a tonal charcoal study and a colour study, I started the final draft. She is very happy about the outcome, I too felt satisfied that I didn’t copy the photo as such, I tried to interpret the colours differently. I didn’t want to loose the continuation, so completed in 2 episodes of 2 1/2 hours the same day.
Thank you Indhu for giving me this opportunity, somehow the finishing stages felt divine 🙂
