Last Saturday I was sketching near Sengkang Floating Wetland, it’s our family’s weekend routine going to Sengkang west riverside park for a short outing. We have the waterway nearby home, it’s a very relaxing place with Riverside park, floating wetland and we would frequently spot monitor lizards, otters and many birds. Long ago, I started my painting hobby here, trying to sketch the greenery along the waterway. This place has inspired me and I have many paintings of the riverside, this is the latest addition in my collection!

First sketchwalk of the year for Urban Sketchers Singapore, at Chinatown last weekend. The crowd was not as usual but the festive mood was there all around with the colorful decorations and New year goodies!
