]]> We explored the Still Life themes also for the 2012 batch kids, initially they had little difficulty in capturing the size and orientation of the subjects but they soon got hold of the theme very well and had fun drawing them.

I planned a variety of subjects, both organic and their own play toys so that they can easily find themselves associated with the subjects. Still life themes involve observing a real life in front of their eyes, this will make them look at everyday objects in a different perspective, inspiring to draw any thing they wish to.

Happy to share this here!
I started my first batch of kids art classes in the year 2012 with 3 students…….the start up is solely by the interest of the parents who happened to see my art exhibit in our public library…….at first I denied since I regard teaching as a profession where you have to inspire and encourage students to inculcate interest in the subject and thought I was not there yet!
But the parents were very stubborn(!) and I thus started teaching them, I should honestly say about the very passionate kids who stood all my rush and they really were keen to learn always!

We together did a lot of artworks, below are some of their artworks when they were 5-6 yrs old then…….now they are all in primary classes doing great!
